Adult licensed tees are usually unisex, which in practice means a straight-sided men’s pattern. That is worth knowing before ordering, because a unisex medium and a women’s medium are not the same garment: the unisex version is wider at the waist, straighter through the hip and longer in the body.

What to watch for in this band

Unisex means men’s cut in nearly all cases. For a narrower shoulder and a waist taper, look for listings described as women’s, juniors’ or contoured.
Licensed ranges thin out sharply above XL. 2XL and 3XL are often separate listings rather than size options on the same product.
Fabric weight is where price differences actually show. 120gsm and 200gsm are both sold as T-shirts and feel nothing alike.
Vintage and distressed prints are an adult-only category — they suit tri-blend fabric, which is softer and takes a faded print deliberately.

The adult band carries the whole catalogue, including the horror and adult-animation properties kept off the children’s pages, plus the nostalgia market for characters people grew up with.
