Who is All Might?
All Might is the Symbol of Peace, the greatest hero in My Hero Academia: enormous, always smiling, with two antenna-like tufts of hair and a costume in American red, white and blue. Kōhei Horikoshi drew him in deliberate homage to American Golden Age superheroes. The story's twist is that All Might is badly injured and can hold his muscular form only for a few hours a day; the rest of the time he is Toshinori Yagi, thin and exhausted. He chooses Izuku Midoriya as his successor and passes on his power, One For All. Kenta Miyake voices him in Japanese and Christopher Sabat in English. His battle cry, Plus Ultra, is the series' motto.
