Who is Anya Forger?
Anya Forger is a small girl who can read minds, adopted by a spy who needs a family for a mission and who does not know that his new wife is an assassin. Anya knows everything about both of them and tells neither. Tatsuya Endo's Spy x Family began on the Shōnen Jump+ app in 2019, and the anime from Wit Studio and CloverWorks in 2022 made Anya one of the most recognisable characters in current anime. Much of her popularity comes from her faces — especially a smug half-smile that spread widely online — and from her delighted cry of waku waku. Atsumi Tanezaki voices her in Japanese and Megan Shipman in English.
