Pochita is a small orange dog with a chainsaw blade in its forehead, and it is the reason Chainsaw Man's hero survives. In Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, which began in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2018, Pochita is a chainsaw devil befriended by Denji, a poor young man working off his father's debt; when Denji is killed, Pochita merges with him to bring him back.

Who is Pochita?
Pochita is a small orange dog with a chainsaw blade in its forehead, and it is the reason Chainsaw Man's hero survives. In Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga, which began in Weekly Shōnen Jump in 2018, Pochita is a chainsaw devil befriended by Denji, a poor young man working off his father's debt; when Denji is killed, Pochita merges with him to bring him back. The series is violent and aimed at older readers, but Pochita's round, loyal design made it one of the most popular pieces of merchandise from the franchise. MAPPA's anime began in 2022, and Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc followed in 2025. Pochita is voiced by Shiori Izawa.
