Who is Tina Belcher?

Tina Belcher is the eldest child of the Belcher family on Bob's Burgers: thirteen, deadpan, awkward, obsessed with horses and boys, and unembarrassed by any of it. Loren Bouchard's series began on Fox in January 2011, and in the pilot the character was written as a boy named Daniel, voiced by comedian Dan Mintz. When the role was rewritten as a girl, Mintz kept it, and his flat, low delivery — and Tina's long, uncertain groan — became the show's signature. The series has won the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program more than once and reached cinemas with The Bob's Burgers Movie in 2022. Tina's glasses, yellow barrette and blue shirt make one of the most recognisable silhouettes in modern television animation.
