Do matching family character shirts come in every size?

Licensed apparel is manufactured by size band, and the bands are frequently produced separately. A licensee may make a design in adult S to 3XL and never produce it in children's sizes, or produce a children's version where the artwork has been simplified or rearranged to fit a smaller chest. Two shirts sold under the same character name can therefore look noticeably different in a photograph.

The reliable approach is to work from one listing. A listing that offers toddler, youth and adult sizes as options on the same product is almost always the same design across the range. Listings that sell each size band separately are worth comparing image by image before ordering.

Check the cut as well as the design. Adult shirts are usually unisex, which in practice means a men's pattern, while youth and toddler shirts are cut differently again. For a photograph where everyone should look alike, the same print matters more than the same cut.
